Our Story
The New White Lion, built in 1838. This Grade Il listed Georgian building has been carefully and affectionately restored, and it’s currently an exceptional retreat brimming with appeal, solace, extravagance and style.
The rooms are extremely comfortable & well furnished with Smart TV’s available in every room and Tea/Coffee facilities, en suite bathrooms with power showers (including a luxurious corner bath in The Physicians of Myddfai room). The New White Lion rooms are influenced in design by local Welsh characters & folklore legends. Celebrating the rich culture & heritage of the area, materials, finishes, furnishings, antiques and props have all been hand-selected to convey an individual essence to each room.
Mark and Karen have been proud custodians of the New White Lion since September 2022 and have made very subtle changes to the interior that reflect a mix of old and new bringing the property up to date with soft bespoke handmade furnishings.
